Stoicism sees the logic as the language of our world. This might seem strange, but our terms can guide our understanding of our world and how it is constructed.

The financial services industry has its own language; navigating through it can be daunting. We understand this and are committed to delivering advice in plain, understandable language. We believe in empowering you to make rational and logical decisions about your finances without the need for complex jargon.

Stoicism is often seen as a philosophy focused on reducing happiness. This is not necessarily true. Stoics want to achieve happiness, but oftentimes, what is seen as delivering happiness can be misleading. An example of this is taking medicine. We all want good health. But if we are sick and our doctors give us medicine, especially medicine that tastes bad, we might have to “suffer” the distaste of the medicine to achieve our health, which is ultimately what will make us happy.

Here at Stoic Investments, LLC, we go through a process where we learn what you are missing to help achieve your ultimate happiness. We establish a plan and then we work to keep you in that plan. While plans can change, it is important to have a guide who works with you to keep you on the path toward ultimate happiness and not sacrifice the ultimate happiness for short-term happiness.
